Step by Step Guide for enrolling a New IBO
This guide is to help you walk your new team member through the initial set up and training steps of their business. As we know, it can be very overwhelming in the beginning, so we want to help them as much as possible during that time.
This outline has been made with the goal of getting our new IBOs on the phone, working, and in action within 72 hours of enrolling. This will help the retention rate of your IBO's so they stay on the books. This will lead to a more productive team, pin level promotions, and a strong dynamic organization.

1. Application Process:
Submit the application, provide IBO#, tell them they will receive their IBO kit within 7 business days, and that you will send them an email entitled "Welcome to Ameriplan" or the "Name of First Email in New IBO Campaign Folder" that will have all of your contact information, work schedule and link to our training site.

2. Website Set up Guide : (If IBO is near their computer)
Walk them through logging in to their IBO support site and updating marketing site usernames. Walk them through setting up focal point by reading them the steps that are provided in the set up guide in step 3.
(Sometimes, based on the time of the application, whether it's after hours or weekends, some are unable to access their back office for 24-48 hrs. If that is the case then continue with the following steps. Just make sure to complete this step during your first followup appointment.)

3. Give Them Homework!
A) Provide them with the training site: www.freedomathometeam.com, password, and have them complete steps 1 & 2 ( subscribing to team newsletter, listening to orientation call and getting familiar with the benefits). I only have them do the first 2 so it does not overwhelm them. I direct them to the other steps in our f/u appointment.
B) Create their schedule for Ameriplan. There are 3 main aspects to what they will be doing - Prospecting, Advertising/Marketing, and Training (in that order of priority). So if they work outside of the home or have obligations and have limited time in the day, they need to be scheduling that time for prospecting. They need to spend at least 1 hr a day MINIMUM advertising/marketing and then schedule 1 hour a day in training in their initial 30 days. Once the 30 days have passed they can go to 3-5 calls per week.
C) Write their business plan/goals down.
-Long Term, Short Term, The Steps they plan or believe they need to take to reach those goals and the time frame they are giving themselves to achieve it. This allows them to see what they want, what they need to do to get it and how long it will take. The best part is, this plan is their creation, not ours. So its based on their own expectations.
D) Get them connected with you on Facebook. Ask them for the name or email address associated with their facebook acct. At that moment request their friendship on Facebook, add them to our team support group "freedom at home team & friends" and then suggest the leaders to them so they can connect as well.

Now, if they do NOT have a Facebook and have 2nd thoughts about creating a profile, let them know that it's completely up to them, but you do suggest it for these reasons:

- Facebook is a phenomenal tool to use to market & build your business for free and since you are
only relying on free sources to build your income, I highly suggest that you soak up every
resource available to you.

- Tell them Facebook has 1 billion users and is also the #1 website in the world. So with the right
training (which we will provide) it can be very beneficial for their business.

- We have a fabulous support group that is available to you 24/7/365. Our team is very supportive of one another and extremely helpful. You can go to that group to ask questions, get tips, resources, training encouragement, support or to share your own with others. Also, when you recruit team members of your  own, its best to get them connected as well.

- Its an easy way to connect with you using Instant Message on Facebook. In case you are
unavailable by phone or they just have a quick question, they can get ahold of you there. You are able to multi task and it saves you both time.

4. Schedule a Follow Up Appointment within the first 24-48 hrs of application. Make sure you have at least 30-60 minutes to dedicate to this appointment with your new IBO. Let them know at that time, you will review the above, answer any further questions, then move on to the next step of getting him/her into action and training.

FIRST FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT:

Recap on "homework" you provided them:
1. Website Setup . If you were unable to walk them through the website set up in the initial call then do that at this time. If you already did this with them, great, continue with step 2.
2. Ask them if they completed steps 1 & 2 on the training site. IF they did not do it , just move on. Although we would like for them to listen to the orientation call, the process does not have to stop because they didn't . The most important step has been taken care of which was setting up their sites and email communication.
3. Ask them to share with you their goals and schedule they created. (This way you know what they are shooting for and you can help them succeed. I suggest taking notes of what they say.) I always try to tell them that their very first financial goal should be to cover their monthly overhead, followed by reaching RSD. This is the very first step in reaching the larger goals they have set out for themselves to accomplish.
Next Step:
1. Let them know this will be day one of their training. (Dani Johnson Bootcamp )
They need to sign up for the 30 day bootcamp offered by Dani Johnson. Send them this link to sign up. http://smarternetworker.com/free_30_day_bootcamp/?sig=20&utm_source=Facebook . (If IBO is near the computer, have them do this while they are on the phone with you) Tell them to listen to day 1 today and continue daily through out the bootcamp.
B. Also give them "homework" to complete steps 4-6 of the training site as well ( I break it up, so its not so overwhelming the first 24 hrs)
2. Get them ADVERTISING!
A) They need to listen to "Start simple finish big"
B) Start Advertising to generate leads
Have them go to : www.teamleadersandtraining.blogspot.com . Tell them they need to click on the tab "Game Plan to RSD" . The content that is provided will recap over what they just did and help them create a game plan to RSD. Their very first goals should be to reach RSD in 30 days to receive the fast track bonus. There is a training call entitled "Start Simple , Finish Big". They will need to listen to this call to learn methods of free advertisement to start generating leads asap.
Also on that site, tell them that under the tab "Craigslist and Memberships" they will find exact websites that they can post on and the ads to use.They must COPY/PASTE ADS! Do not make up their own. Let them know these are the same ads you use and they are proven to generate leads. They should be posting 10-20 ads per day, 50-100 per week.
If they have a budget for advertising establish how much and then let them know their options.
Advertising for Beginners:
*Co-op shares : $36.50 per share, 30-50 leads per month, per share - open during the 18-22nd of each mo.
*Self Serve Leads: 1 - 10 cent per lead, apply $20 to the acct to start. You will choose the
"Interview Optin Short Forms Leads" You will get anywhere from 200-2000 leads for $20.
If your IBO wants more advanced advertising options, get with your NSD or above and they will direct you on how to get your IBO in the right direction for good advertising options.
I recommend for them to only learn one method of advertisement every few days. So within 1 month they should have at least 4-5 methods. They can at least take the time that is needed to familiarize themselves with what they are doing without feeling overwhelmed. That is why I am starting them here to learn how to market on Free Classified Ad sites.

3.GET THEM INTO ACTION!
Once I have given them this information, I ask them "How do you feel about jumping on the phones tomorrow (or next business day)?"
Then I tell them, "I am going to send you the beginners script (3way method) and a few leads to get you started. (remember to still send them the full presentation script along with the 3way and let them know to be prepared to use it, if the prospect does NOT want to listen to a recording)
- If they are not ready to get on the phone, then have them do it the following day . But your goal should be to have them working within 24-48 hrs of the f/u appointment.
- If you do NOT have leads to share, direct them to  www.leadpower.com and request 10 free leads and www.hbbleads.com to request 20 free leads to get started with.

4. Schedule a Follow up Appointment for 72 hours later.
At this second f/u appointment, you can go over how their first initial prospecting went, answer any questions and then get them started on a new method for advertisement. I recommend Facebook Marketing. I would have them go to www.careerandfreedom.homestead.com , click on "weekly calls" and enter into our archived training calls. There are 2 different training calls on how to market on facebook and using social networking. Have them listen to that and start that process asap, in addition to the method/methods they are already using.

At that point you should be only scheduling a weekly f/u call with your IBO.
